SUNDAYS AT ST. LUKE
We are committed to practical, Biblical teaching in an atmosphere where people can freely worship the Lord. On Sunday mornings, we have five in person worship services, two of which are live-streamed across Facebook, YouTube, and our website.
Join us for worship at 8:20, 9:30, 11:00 am or 1:30 p.m.

8:20 & 11:00 a.m.
Traditional Service
The service is focused on joining together to worship our loving God. Music, scripture, prayer, testimonials and the weekly message, point toward our savior’s grace and love for us. Certain elements of the service, such as hymns we sing and communal readings, are based on the church’s Methodist heritage and Christian identity.

9:30 a.m.
Contemporary Worship
This service meets in the gym. The praise band gets things started off with modern Christian songs, and that sets the tone for this uplifting hour of worship. There is a strong emphasis on community, and on how we live out God’s call on our daily lives. This service also includes praise, scripture, prayer, and a weekly message.

1:00 p.m.
Swahili Language Worship
St. Luke launched a multicultural worship service in 2012, followed by a Swahili service in 2015. These are now one service, but the aim remains the same: to offer a place for people of our African community and members of the Swahili-speaking diaspora in Lexington to come together and seek God through more familiar African traditions.

11:00 a.m.
God’s Backyard Children’s Worship
God's Backyard is a worship experience specifically crafted for children in Kindergarten through 5th grade. The whole group meets together for prayer, Bible drills and to collect an offering for Compassion International children that they support. A children's lesson is shared, and then students then have small-group time to discern how the lesson works in real life.
