We are so excited to welcome Debbie Beidleman to the staff at St. Luke as our bookkeeper! Find out more about Debbie and what she will be doing at St. Luke below. And, if you see her, be sure to welcome her!
Who Am I?
Debbie is a longtime Lexingtonian who attended and played basketball at Lafayette High School before heading to the University of Kentucky for college. She remains an avid Wildcat basketball fan, and another of her passions is needlepointing; she is active in the Central Kentucky American Needlepoint Guild. In October of 2018, Debbie retired after a 33-year career in accounting and human resources.
What Do I Do?
A relatively recent addition to the St. Luke team, Debbie joined the staff as the bookkeeper in August of 2020. In her role, she takes care of paying the bills, processing contributions, handling biweekly payroll, and maintaining the accounting records at the church. Since retiring in 2018, she’s been volunteering at God’s Pantry at St. Luke, which is how she heard about the job. “I’d begun to miss some of my financial work, so I feel this is an answer to my prayers.”
