Ongoing Outreach to Lexington Homeless through the Nathaniel Mission

St. Luke serves breakfast to marginalized citizens on the first Sunday of each month. We also have the opportunity to distribute toiletries and clothing. Thank you to all of you who have collected hotel size toiletries, individually wrapped snacks, and clothing. There is an ongoing need for razors, deodorant, toothbrushes, and men’s gently used clothing and underwear of all types. Place donations in the basket at the Connection Center. If you want to learn more about serving this population on a rotating basis, contact Denise Ockerman @ 494-1482.

The God We Can Know: Exploring the “I Am” Sayings of Jesus. Our Fall 2015 Church-Wide Study Begins Soon!

The Gospel of John records several declarations by Jesus known as the “I Am” sayings, and with each of these statements, Jesus captures our imagination and reveals more about His identity and purpose.   Join us as we explore Jesus’ “I Am” statements through  Pastor Mark’s sermons and small group studies.  If you’ve wanted to join a group but keep putting it off, this is the perfect time to start!  Classes begin this Wednesday, September 23 and on Sunday mornings beginning next Sunday, September 27.  Join in our journey together and discover The God We Can Know.   Questions?  Need help finding a group?  Sign up in the Connection Center or contact Nora Conner (, 269-4687).
