On March 24, Maundy Thursday, we invite you to come to the Thursday Night Service of Darkness at 7:00 pm and on Good Friday, March 25, from 12:00 pm- 6:00 pm the Sanctuary will be open for “come and go” communion and interactive journey through the Stations of the Cross. In addition to our regular Sunday services, we will also have an Easter Sunrise service at 7:00 am outside under the cross and flame.
In celebration of St. Luke’s 40th anniversary, we will be offering commemorative items! T-shirts, stainless steel coffee tumblers, and insulated water tumblers, all with a special 40th anniversary logo, will arrive soon. Be on the lookout in the Connection Center!

New Women’s Bible Study!
All women are invited to join us at the Wednesday morning women’s Bible study. We will be starting a new series by Beth Moore called “Breathe” on Wednesday March 16. The six week study will examine the work of the Holy Spirit in your life. All women are welcome to join us for this adventure! We meet on Wednesday from 10:00 am-12:00 pm.
Help Gather St. Luke History
We are gathering photos and stories from the last 40 years to be displayed during St. Luke’s 40th Birthday Celebration. Please go through your photographic memories that involve our church. Bring them, with descriptions and stories, to the Resource Room, behind the Connection Center, and leave them in the designated basket. Let’s share our past. Any questions? Contact Denise Ockerman 494-1482.
Free Concert on Palm Sunday Evening by Bluegrass Opera
The Bluegrass Opera is hosting a free performance of “King of Glory” on Sunday, March 20 at 6:30pm. “King of Glory” is an uplifting oratorio that tells the story of the passion and resurrection of Jesus Christ using lush, colorful harmonies and melodies that will stick with listeners long after the performance ends! The work was premiered in 2014, and audiences have been raving about it ever since. Imagine Handel’s “Messiah,” but for today’s church-goers — and it features some of the most talented and versatile singers in central Kentucky!
