A traditional service of Nine Lessons and Carols presented by the St. Luke choir.

In 1880, Anglican Bishop E.W. Benson, composed a Festival Of Nine Lessons and Carols, based on numerous ancient church sources for Christmas services. In 1918 it was adapted for use at King’s College at Cambridge, and has been presented there for nearly 100 years. The service combines the Scriptural Texts which tell the entire story of Christmas and the birth of the Messiah with some of the beautiful music of Christmas. This morning we are blessed to have our Chancel Choir lead us in this beautiful time of worship.
