All in-person classes, services, meetings, rehearsals, and programs of all kinds are cancelled until further notice due to the COVID-19 pandemic. We will be live streaming worship services at 9:30 am Sundays on our website, on YouTube and Facebook. This will be followed by virtual Sunday School classes. God’s Pantry is running but at this time we are only accepting volunteers that are under 60 years of age. We do need volunteers and St. Luke will be running the afternoon shift of pantry distribution from 4:00-6:30 each day. God’s pantry will supply volunteers for our morning shift. We will update you about food donations as we make our way into next week as we will be supplied with pre-packaged boxes from the main distribution center.
Scripture Readers for Good Friday
Have you heard the news? Something new is happening at St. Luke during Holy Week! We will be having an evening Good Friday Service, which will be a full Tenebrae service, with 15 scripture readings and songs. If you are interested in participating by reading a scripture passage at the service on Friday, April 10 at 6:30 pm go to stlukeumc.org/gf20.
Kentucky and Tennessee Disaster Relief
Tennessee has had devastating tornadoes and Eastern KY has experienced massive flooding and we need your help! We are assembling more cleaning buckets to send as soon as possible. We need supplies and funds to purchase supplies. There will be a packing party in the near future, too! Stop by the Connection Center or contact our Team Leader, Allen Porter (606-375-2753) for more information.
