Light the Advent Wreath This Year

We still need a family or individual for the  8:30 service on December 18.  If you would like to be a part of this wonderful tradition, please contact Will Solomon or Pastor Mark.   Or sign up on the sheet in the Connection Center.

Upward Help Needed • We still need volunteers to be coaches, assistant coaches, referees, timekeepers, and other game day volunteers. These are NOT positions that require skilled knowledge of the game of basketball. Upward provides a book that teaches everything you need to know and do to be a volunteer. Please contact Ed Towle,

Christ Tree

Thank you for being such a generous congregation. We have selected names from the Swahili congregation, Lexington Refugee Ministry, our ESL program, and our Alms Fund referrals.  Gifts and gift cards must be brought to church and placed on the altar during services next Sunday, Dec. 18.  If you cannot be here, please bring your gifts to the church office during the week.  If you have your gift today, please contact an usher to secure it.

Extra Christmas Decorations?

St. Luke is joyfully accepting Christmas decorations for God’s Pantry recipients. Please consider donating new or gently-used items to brighten up others homes during the holidays. Donations can be left at the table outside the door of God’s Pantry.

Ask for Socks for Christmas

Be sure to ask for new underwear and warm clothes for Christmas so you can share your gently used items with the needy individuals served by Nathaniel Mission.  Bag up your sweatshirts, boxers, and gloves and put them in the basket at the Connection Center.  Many will be blessed!
