Bible Reading Plans!

St. Luke has new Bible reading plans for 2018 outside the Welcome and Connection Center!  We have one to help if you would like to read the bible in a year, and one for those who need a lighter load.  Take a look and see how you might learn and grow closer to the Lord through your study of scripture this year!

Stewardship Commitment in 2018

As you reflect and plan for this new year, we invite you to also pray about your financial commitment to St. Luke.  Your contributions are a form of discipleship throughout the year; they are a part of the lifestyle of a disciple.  For those who would like to make a written commitment of your pledge to St. Luke, there are forms at the Welcome Center and Connection Center.  You may keep the form for your own records, or you may return it to the church, attention Nora Conner.

Too Busy Not To Pray • Need encouragement in your prayer life? Ready to take an intentional step in the new year? You are invited to a four-week study on prayer facilitated by Chuck and Sue Lord using Bill Hybels’ “Too Busy Not To Pray” book and video series on Sunday evenings from 5:30-7:00 beginning January 21. Childcare for 5th grade and under available upon request. Please let us know if you plan to attend: Chuck Lord, 859-608-9412, or Sue Lord, 859-797-1586,

New Covenant Groups At St. Luke

To all who wish to grow closer to Jesus: come out on Wednesday the 17th at 6:30 PM as we gather to discuss the starting of new small groups at St. Luke.  All who are interested in being a part of a group can join us in room 128 as we discuss what it means to be a part of a Covenant Group.  These Covenant Groups are patterned after the Wesleyan Model of small group and are a way to grow closer to Christ individually and corporately. If you would like more information, pick up our Covenant Group Brochure outside the Welcome or Connection Center, or talk to our Director of Adult Discipleship, John Duff.

Blue Barrel Sunday • For January, we are asking for donations of canned soups of all kinds and tomato products including tomato sauce, diced tomatoes, stewed tomatoes. These items can help provide hot, nutritious meals during cold, wintry weather.   Pick up your Blue Barrel Bag today and return it on next Sunday on January 21 filled with all of these food items. Thank you!
