Fifth Sunday Offering
Today we are taking our Fifth Sunday Offering for Kentucky United Methodist Children’s Homes. Our children’s homes need us more than ever before in the fight to save our children and families from the devastation from Kentucky’s Opioid Epidemic. Our Methodist Children’s Homes served over 800 children last year and is on track to serve more this year. Our Methodist Children’s Homes are asking us to make a renewed commitment to 1) pray for the children and 2) generously support the Fifth Sunday Offerings. Please prayerfully consider a special gift today for this 5th Sunday Offering.

New Women’s Bible Study
We will be having a 4-week Bible Study this fall during the month of October. Using Barb Roose’s DVD and her book: “I’m Waiting God, finding blessings in God’s delays”. Do you ever feel like God is taking too long to answer your prayers? This Bible Study will breathe fresh hope and practical steps in your life. Please join us on Wednesday mornings from 10-12 beginning on October 9. For more information, contact Joanne Beidleman at 278-3973 or firstname.lastname@example.org.
We are still seeking groups or individuals to host an activity for this event on Oct. 19th, from 5-6:30pm, in our front parking lot. You can use your own idea or we have some booths “ready to go.” Your group would need to provide workers and prizes. We will decide by Oct. 3rd if we have enough activities to move forward with the event. Contact Susan (email@example.com) and let her know how you wish to help!
