Blue Barrel Sunday

Next week is the Sunday that we try to fill the blue donation barrels with items for our food pantry. Pick up a blue bag and return it next Sunday, Feb 16th, filled with canned fruit.  Suggestions are peaches, pears, pineapple, mandarin oranges, and applesauce. Fruit cocktail is fine but it would be nice to give clients a choice.

Prayer Shawl Ministry

Compassion and the love of knitting/crocheting have been combined into a prayerful ministry and spiritual practice which reaches out to those in need of comfort and solace, as well as in celebration and joy. The Prayer Shawl Ministry of St. Luke wants to remind you that we have plenty of prayer shawls available for you to take to a friend in need to know that we love them and are praying for them. Talk to Brian or Nora for more information.

Want to Work with Video and Social Technology in Worship?

St. Luke is seeking volunteers to run our livestream services on Sunday mornings. Training will be provided, no experience necessary. Volunteers would need to be available for both morning services on a rotational basis. An informational meeting will be held on March 1 at 12:30 in room 127. If you are interested, contact Amanda Draughn at

Join the Choir

The St. Luke Chancel Choir practices weekly on Wednesday nights 7-8:30 p.m in the Sanctuary. Everybody is welcome to join the choir (whether you have sung with us before or not!). Contact Brent Merritt if you have any questions.
