Wednesday.comm Meal and Closing Event • Our meal for Wednesday, May 2, is prepared and served by Allen Porter and friends. All proceeds will go to support UMCOR (United Methodist Committee on Relief). Meal: hamburgers, hotdogs, potato salad, baked beans, and assorted desserts. Meals are $5 per plate (sharing is allowed, max. $15 per family) and  will be served from 5:15 – 6:30 p.m.


Join the Worship Production Team

We are seeking a few volunteers to assist worship at St. Luke by running the projection or sound equipment during services once per month. Calling All 2018 High School and College/University Graduates

St. Luke will recognize College/University and other Higher Education Graduates on May 6 and we will recognize high school graduates on May 20. We need the following information: the graduates name, high school or college of graduation, the graduates plans following graduation, a photo, and if you plan to attend the St. Luke Service on the date you are to be recognized. Please send these details to no later than May 1 for college/university graduates and no later than May 15 for high school graduates. You may also sign up at the Connection Center.

Offering for KY United Methodist Homes for Children & Youth

The Kentucky United Methodist Homes for Children & Youth (KyUMH) offering is today.  Every 5th Sunday, we support this ministry to children and youth with histories of abuse, neglect and/or family trauma.  KyUMH brings hope and healing to over 150 youth and families throughout Kentucky each day though residential and community-based programs. National Day of Prayer

Thursday, May 3 is the National Day of Prayer.   The Aldersgate Chapel will be open all day for individual prayer and several United Methodist Churches in Lexington will hold a Prayer service that evening at St. Luke.  The service will begin at 7:00 P.M. in the Sanctuary.  Everyone is welcome to attend.  


Now Hiring Youth Ministry Staff • St. Luke is seeking persons to direct the youth ministry. The successful applicants (at least two) should have a calling to work with youth from 6th grade through 12th grade, a passion to engage youth and their families in the ministries of the church, skill in working with and for more information and to apply, please go to and click on the  “Now Hiring” graphic on the front page or contact Rev.
