Volunteer Appreciation This Sunday
Today, throughout the whole morning, we will be showing our appreciation for all of the volunteers and servants at St. Luke by providing some breakfast refreshments in the Fellowship Hall. Please stop by and allow us to thank you for all you do!
Contemporary Service at 10:35am
As we continue to foster a spirit of excellent worship here at St. Luke, we are going to move the 10:45 Contemporary service in the Fellowship Hall from 10:45 to 10:35 for Advent and for the foreseeable future. This is so we will be able to have Brian come in and physically preach at both this service as well as the two traditional Sanctuary services.
Young Adult and College-Age Christmas Party
Our Young Adult and College-Age group will be having our Christmas Party Monday the 16th, this week, from 6:30-8:30 PM. We will have food, games and a gift card exchange at John’s house. Please message John for more information! (859) 333-3278
Blue Barrel Sunday
Today is the Sunday we try to fill the Blue Barrels with donations for our food pantry. This month we are asking for canned vegetables (but not green beans or corn.) Please place your donations in or near one of the Blue Barrels. Forgot your donations? We will accept them at any time!
We are Hiring!
We need additional paid child care workers on Sunday mornings from 9:15-12:15. The position pays $15 an hour. For an application, email email@example.com
Christmas Candlelight Services
Join us for one of our two annual Christmas Eve Candlelight services as we celebrate the birth of our Savior. The service times are 5:30 p.m. and 7:30 p.m. and take place in the Sanctuary with a Christmas meal at 6:30 p.m. Bring the whole family and invite a friend to this very special service you won’t want to miss!
St. Luke Family Christmas Eve Dinner
St. Luke wants to invite the church family to a community dinner for members and guests alike. There will be a meal in between the two Christmas Eve services from 6:30-7:30pm. Feel free to come and go as you attend the services. St. Luke will provide the meat and drinks but we ask you bring a side or dessert to share. Come worship and gather around the table with your St. Luke family. Volunteers will also be needed to help set up before the meal and to help clean up afterwards. If you are interested, please contact Amanda Draughn at firstname.lastname@example.org.
Making Christmas Brighter
Got Christmas decorations you no longer use? Do you have unused or gently used items that can be re-gifted? Each year we share such items with our God’s Pantry clients who seem to greatly appreciate the choices. We will continue to receive through December 20. Your gifts will be a blessing to many.
