Pastor & Staff Appreciation Month

Although we appreciate our pastors and staff all year long, October is designated as Pastor and Staff Appreciation month by the United Methodist Church.  This month is the perfect time to show the staff the love, honor and encouragement they so deserve in special ways.  Baskets will be placed in the Connection and Welcome Centers for you to leave cards, letters, notes of appreciation etc.  Many of the staff members also love gift cards, chocolate, cookies and donuts! Let’s be creative and  show the staff how much we appreciate what they do for us all year long. Thank you, SPRC

We are also accepting monetary donations for purchasing some supplies in country. Please drop your donations off in the Connection Center and note checks for Yakalwas School.

Upward Volunteers Needed

Upward Basketball registration starts next week! We still need volunteers to be coaches, assistant coaches, referees, timekeepers, and other game day volunteers. These are NOT positions that require skilled knowledge of the game of basketball. Upward provides a book that teaches everything you need to know and do to be a volunteer. – Please contact Ed Towle, etowle@stlukeumc.org.
