Spring 2018 - Adult Classes and Groups
Witness: Learning to Share your Christian Faith
Witness: Learning to Share Your Christian Faith by Ron Crandall is a small-group experience that helps participants understand how to speak of their faith with others. The experience integrates Bible study and reflection with spiritual practices to deepen the faith life of participants. Participants will examine their faith through Bible study and reflection; grow spiritually with others; identify gifts for ministry; and learn how to witness in a natural and effective way to others. Join Doug Sell on a 2-semester (Fall and Spring) journey together, as we learn and practice sharing our faith with those around us. Doug will be leading the class each week and Ron will help from time to time to encourage discussion and learning.

Wednesday evenings are a great way to get connected at St. Luke. Each Wednesday evening starts with a time of fellowship over dinner. Following the meal there are classes and activities for children, youth, and adults.
What is Wednesday.comm?
This is our Wednesday evening format, and it’s for everyone! We have planned an exciting range of class styles and topics.
When is Wednesday.comm?
Well, Wednesdays of course! Adult groups will meet between 6 and 8 pm. Some classes will meet for one hour starting at 6 pm, some will start at 6:30 or 7 pm, and some may even run the whole two hours. Children’s programming will be 6-7 pm with childcare available 7-8:30 pm. Youth Bible Study is from 6-7:30 pm.
Do you attend a worship service on Sunday but feel like you could be doing more to grow spiritually? When you come to church, do you see faces you recognize, but feel like you don’t really know many people or haven’t really connected with anyone? Wednesday.comm is a chance for the people of St. Luke to gather in small groups and learn how to be more like Christ. This is a great opportunity for relationship-building and discipleship!
Food and fellowship are important parts of community night at St. Luke. Meals will be prepared by groups within our church to raise money for a project or mission of their choice. Weekly meals are $5 per plate ($15 max per family, sharing allowed if you wish) and will be served from 5:15 -6:30 p.m. in the Gym. Watch the bulletin each week for information about the group preparing the meal and the menu. We are excited to offer a wide range of classes. If you plan on taking a class, please contact the facilitator or sign up in the Connection Center. We ask that participants cover the cost of their books if possible. If financial assistance is needed, please contact the facilitator or John Duff at email@example.com.
What about kids or youth?
We have classes for kids and youth, too! For kids from Kindergarten through 5th grade, we will be teaching them “13 Very Cool Stories and Why Jesus Told Them” from 6:00 -7:00 pm. The youth group (6th-12th) will be having a Bible study in the youth room.
