Fifth Sunday Offering

Next Sunday we are taking our Fifth Sunday Offering for Kentucky United Methodist Children’s Homes. Our Methodist Children’s Homes are asking us to make a renewed commitment to 1) pray for the children and 2) generously support the Fifth Sunday Offerings. Please prayerfully consider a special gift for this 5th Sunday Offering.

Pumpkinfest 2019

We are still seeking groups or individuals to host an activity for this event on Oct. 19th, from 5-6:30pm, in our front parking lot. You can use your own idea or we have some booths “ready to go.” Your group would need to provide workers and prizes. We will decide by Oct. 3rd if we have enough activities to move forward with the event. Contact Susan (scutshall@stlukeumc.org) and let her know how you wish to help!

Covenant Group Launch Fall 2019

Do you long for a deeper walk with God in daily life?   Do you long to be filled with God’s Spirit, to be transformed from the inside out?  Perhaps joining a Covenant Group at St. Luke is right for you. A Covenant Group is 3-5 Christians gathering to share and reflect on their own walk with God so that together we can learn to hear God’s voice, grow closer to him and be sent into the world on mission. Our 2019 Fall Launch of Covenant Groups will be on October 6th at 6:30 PM in room 126 at the church.  Please join us if you are interested and contact John Duff at jduff@stlukeumc.org for more info!

Holiday Market 2019 • St. Luke’s United Methodist Women’s Holiday Market is on October 18th and 19th!! Last year we asked members to put a sign in their yard to advertise. We really appreciated that but we are now looking for those signs to put  out again this year. If you have one just text or call Kathy Silberman at 859-699-1582 or email at k.silberman123@gmail.com. Thanks for helping us!
