It’s time to Egg- A-Neighbor!

Visit the Connection Center and pick up one or more specially prepared buckets and follow the instructions to show kids & families in your neighborhood what Easter is REALLY all about! They are available now until April 15th in the Connection Center!

 

Invite a Friend or Neighbor to Join us for Easter!

Pick up some cards from the lobby and invite a friend or neighbor to join us for our Easter Services on Sunday, April 16. The cards are also available for download on our website.

 

Holy Week Opportunities

During Holy Week, we will have several opportunities for you to come and prepare your hearts for Easter. Next week, Palm Sunday, join us for morning worship featuring the Parade of Palms and the Chancel Choir. That evening, the Bluegrass Opera will hold their free performance of “King of Glory” at 7:00 pm in the Sanctuary (a love offering will be taken). On April 13, Maundy Thursday, we invite you to come to the Thursday Night Service of Darkness at 7:00 pm and on Good Friday, April 14,  from 12:00 pm- 6:00 pm the Sanctuary will be open for “come and go” communion and interactive journey through the Way of the Cross. Next Sunday, in addition to our regular Sunday services, we will also have an Easter Sunrise service at 7:00 am outside under the cross and flame.

 

Wednesday.comm Meal and Service • Our meal for Wednesday, April 5, is prepared and served by the Stephen Ministers. All donations and proceeds will go to the Save-a-Million Balloon Fund. Meal: scrambled eggs, sausage links, biscuits and gravy, pancakes and apples. Meals are $5 per plate (sharing is allowed, max. $15 per family) and  will be served from 5:15 – 6:30 p.m.

Welcome Dr. Kenneth Collins  • We are excited to welcome Dr. Kenneth Collins, Professor of Historical Theology and Wesley Studies at  Asbury Seminary, and one of St. Luke’s own, to the pulpit this morning. Dr. Collins will be preaching on the Greatness Of God.

United Methodist Women – Esther Circle Meeting • The Esther Circle of St Luke’s United Methodist Women will meet on Tuesday, April 4th at 6pm.  We will be meeting in Room 128 in the Life Center.  Our program topic is Keeping Sabbath and includes a video.  Come join us and learn.  Of course – there’ll be snacks!
