These selections will allow clients to have a variety of choices in their meal preparation.
Emotionally Healthy Spirituality Class Beginning February 28 • Each of us is wonderfully, marvelously created in the image of God to do things far beyond our imaginations for His eternal purposes. Yet, there is more to us than meets the eye. People see only 10% of who we are – what is public, visible, obvious-including how we look and what we do. 90% of who we are lies beneath the surface, unseen, not obvious to others and perhaps not even to ourselves. You are invited to explore that 90% in a safe place by studying and discussing the book Emotionally Healthy Spirituality by Peter Scazzaro. This series is all about tending to life below the surface. Come and let’s grow stronger and deeper together, Wednesdays from 6 -7:15 p.m., February 28 through April 25. Questions? Check with Pastor Mike by email at firstname.lastname@example.org or call the church office (859-269-468
Save-A-Million Plan Update • This month we are celebrating the third anniversary of our Save-A-Million Plan to pay off our Life Center mortgage early and save $1,000,000 in interest. We will celebrate on February 25 with balloon launches and a Balloon Festival in the Fellowship Hall throughout the morning. To date we have raised over $250,000. That money is going right to work reducing the principle on our mortgage. We have exceeded our three-year goal by over $13,000. That means we already have over $16,000 toward 2018! Thank you for your faithfulness in investing for the long-term impact of our ministries. See the lobby display for more information about how you can participate.
Lexington Rescue Mission Walk for Warmth • Support the Lexington Rescue Mission Homeless Prevention Program by joining the St. Luke team at the 11th annual Walk for Warmth Saturday, February 24. The event begins at Phoenix Park at 10:00 am. The program helps those who may need a little help staying on their feet by providing assistance with rent and utilities, thus preventing the downward spiral into homelessness. All participants will receive a t-shirt, breakfast, and lunch.
